When you look through binoculars the typical way, you see small or distant objects magnified. Turn them around and look through the other end, and even large or close objects appear minimized.

When it comes to choosing to live a Fired Up! life, you need to decide which end of your binoculars to use and then carefully choose to focus on either your personal, God-given strengths or your weaknesses.

Unfortunately, most people tend to magnify their weaknesses at the expense of minimizing their view of their strengths. This results in a Fizzled Out life.

Magnifying your strengths makes a lot of sense because they probably have the largest capacity for growth. Your weaknesses just need to be minimized so they don’t hold you back from achieving your goals. As the old song goes, “You’ve got to accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative.”

Focusing your mental binoculars on your strengths brings a magnified life into clear view, and you can begin living your Fired Up! life.
